The Engineering Department maintains a 5 year plan of road construction projects. Every street within the city of Adrian is driven at least every two years for the purpose of rating the roads. Every block of every street has a rating and this information is tracked and used to develop the construction projects for the next 5 years. We strive to balance our work around the City between roads that need complete reconstruction and those that need new surfacing. We are also working towards a more extensive maintenance plan to maintain our good streets for a longer period.
