The City of Adrian Engineering and Public Works departments are under the direction of the City Engineer, Kristin Bauer, P.E.
The Engineering and Public Works Departments consist of a group of employees that contribute to the quality of your everyday life. These departments work to maintain the infrastructures within the City's 44.76 miles of local streets, 28.28 miles of major streets, and 12.7 miles of State Trunk Line.
In addition to street and storm sewer construction activities we also manage the City's recycling and compost sites, garbage collection schedule, seasonal yard waste collection,
street and traffic sign maintenance, snow related activities and the City's fleet of vehicles.
Permitting for all work to be completed within the City's Right-of-Way (ROW), residential on-street parking permits, traffic signal maintenance, and street lights are also managed through these departments.
